In this video "Crazy Switch", Bhante uses a cup of tea as an example to explain the cause and effect phenomena. In the video, Bhante explains 'cup of tea' is an effect and there are numerous causes contributing to this produce this effect . In addition, Bhante explains that each cause is necessary to produce the 'cup of tea' effect and that this 'cup of tea' effect cannot be found in any of the causes alone. It has left me wondering is the cup of tea actually out there or is it merely just a perception? And why is there a feeling that cup of tea is out there? Does anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks:)

https://youtu.be/_UDAuqdT3G4?si=oYOE1fTw_ZREOhaM - A simple explanation of perception: The world we perceive is always in equilibrium. This video explains the non-fixity of the world using a shadow.

I like this video because it changed the way I look at the world. I have always felt that I am a ready-made "fixed" person that exists now, existed yesterday, and will exist in the future, this same person. But Bhante points out that there are no fixed entities in this world. When the causes come together, an effect manifests each and every moment. We are human being meaning each and every moment we are being made as long as the causes come together. These causes are not the same and changes moment to moment. Such a simple yet deep concept when applied, I feel a lot of our unnecessary suffering and grief we experience in life could be eliminated, enabling you to live in the present moment. Please share any other thoughts/comments.
